Elizabeth Kim doesn’t just chase dreams—she brings them to life through storytelling, publishing, and creative platforms. A first-generation Canadian who has called Canada home for over two decades, she transitioned from a career at an Ontario certifying body to becoming a travel writer and founder of Toronto Publishing.

As Organizing Committee Chair, she leads through collaboration, fostering shared vision, creative partnerships, and meaningful contributions from every voice. She brings her expertise and passion to the launch of the inaugural Niagara International Music Film Festival in September 2026.

Every great festival begins with a vision worth sharing. For Hyesook Hwang, that vision was to create a place where music and film inspire, connect, and bring people together across cultures. As a film music director and educator, she has dedicated her career to exploring the role of music in storytelling.

As the Founder, Executive Chair & Festival Director of the Niagara International Music Film Festival (NIMFF), she believes a festival is more than a showcase of films—it is a platform where artists connect, ideas flourish, and creative communities grow. Through NIMFF, she brings filmmakers, musicians, and audiences together to shape a festival that began with one person’s dream and grows through the passion and collaboration of many.

With extensive experience in finance and project management, she provides the operational leadership that supports the festival’s sustainable growth. Through careful planning and organizational oversight, she ensures the festival runs smoothly, allowing the creative team to focus on delivering an outstanding festival experience.
